VINCE WEST BIO Vince West is a Singer-Songwriter, Recording Artist, and Publisher who released his 1st CD nationally this past May. He continues to study the craft of songwriting with notable industry professionals, Pat Pattison, Steve Seskin, Steven Memel, and Robin Frederick to name a few. Since 2008 Vince has been on staff with Durango Songwriters Expo. He co-manages industry listening sessions for DSE year-round working directly with top professionals representing Major Labels, Film, TV, and Ad Commercial Music Supervisors, Hit Songwriters, Artist Managers, and Publishers across the Industry and genre spectrum. Vince is a romantic at heart, sharing passionately about life through his music. Most all genre of music have influenced his writing in some manner: Opera to Motown; Bluegrass to Big Band; Rock to Smooth Jazz. Vince was the founding Manager of the Stockton Chapter of West Coast Songwriters – partnering with locally owned businesses and Venues since 2010. He is a member of ASCAP and remains affiliated with TAXI, Music Tech Summit, NSAI, Sound Exchange, TuneCore, and The Recording Academy.
